Its all been tracked, mixed, and mastered. The artwork is done. The paperwork has been filed. Now it is time to give it a listen and send it into the world! Come celebrate the completion of "Farewell Mountain." I'll be joined for a live performance by collaborators Jeff Berman on drums and lap dulcimer and Sam Harris on bass. Please bring a chair or blanket, bug spray, and maybe a beverage of choice. We will be making music from 9 until 11 when the noise curfew is up.
There will be some snacky foods and some beverages available. This is an all ages event with a lightly suggested donation of 5$-20$. Weather permitting, we will do some singing around the fire into the night.
Parking will be available on Hawethorne Street and Fairfield St. There is limited on-site parking for those with special needs.
To be clear and to avoid any "day of" disappointments this day is a celebration of the completion of a long running recording project. I will be doing a small private release of the album digitally accessible to those who are invited to this event. PR copies should arrive in the mail by the end of June. I hope to do a local fall release of the printed album with full band performances and a local PR push in the Fall. Thanks for your support! Hope to see you at the party.
